“My ex-husband beat me anytime Man United lost a game” – Actress, Victoria Inyama (Video)
Well known Nigerian actress, Victoria Inyama has recounted how her ex husband, Godwin Okrim would always, constantly subject her to domestic abuse in theur marriage.
During an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the Nollywood star revealed that her estranged hubby used to beat her whenever his favourite football team, Manchester United lost a match.
During the interview, Victoria didn’t hold back as she talked about her experiences after getting married and leaving Nollywood.
According to the thespian, she hates the English Premier League club till date because of the constant reminder of the trauma she had suffered in her marriage with Godwin.
She explained that despite no longer being together with Okrim, every time Man Utd has a match and loses, she is reminded of the beating she had at his hands.
Inyama said; “I hate Man Utd, ehn. The number of beatings wey dem beat me because Man United lost match ehn.
“Even up to today when there is a football match and Man U loses, I am like Thank God, today would have been a beating day. Even my son knows and would be laughing.”
In the same interview, the mother of three disclosed that Godwin Okrim usually brought his girlfriend to their matrimonial home.
The Nigerian movie star gave instances when her ex-husband allegedly brought other women into their home to harass her and order her around.
“So your husband was bringing his girlfriends home?” Chude asked.
Responding Victoria Inyama said; “Oh wow, yes. There was even one instance where the girl was telling me what to cook.
“I should not be cooking meat; I should be cooking fish. Fish is more healthy. I was just looking at this girl, and they were ‘working together.’”
