Musician shot dead as security operatives and gunmen clash in Imo

A Nigerian musician, Ja Rule was shot dead during a clash between security operatives and Gunmen in Imo State.

38-year-old singer, identified as Roco Nnadiekwe AKA Ja Rule was shot dead in front of his house in Amaifeke area of Orlu on Sunday, April 17, TopNaija reports.

The deceased who happens to be a graduate of Political Science from Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri (2007), was said to have returned to his hometown last week in Imo State, Orlu from Port Harcourt to shoot a video of his first single in Owerri, on Monday, before his death.

A friend of the victim, identified as De Jewel confirmed the incident on Facebook yesterday April 18, claiming that Roco was shot seven times on the head by operatives.
