MTN inaugurates SME unified management platform

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) Nigeria has inaugurated an integrated customer management platform, EnGauge, aimed to allow small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business owners transact business dealings with customers, possibly expanding their profitability substantially.

In accordance with a statement from the telecommunications company, on Thursday, the application, developed in collaboration with Ajua, an African start-up, provides advanced customer management solutions.

It declared that after installing and registering the app, businesses were automatically given a distinctive Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) code that permits their customers to interact, transact and speak with them instantly.

The statement stated, “With MTN Engauge, entrepreneurs can securely receive payment, track transactions with each of their customers and glean valuable insights to serve them better based on their preferences and buying behaviour.”

Lynda Saint-Nwafor, Chief Enterprise Business Officer, MTN Nigeria, disclosed that it was the perfect platform for entrepreneurs and business owners to succeed in the ‘new normal’.
