Some weeks ago, a leak surfaced on the internet from Mr 2 Kay, a song titled “Gifty” which was rumored to have been written for former BB Naija housemate Gifty.

His response however is classic as he drops another tune, a smash hit tune which according to his publicist will make him great.

The title of this one is Belema and it is a love song, the official follow up to “Ladder” which featured Flavour.

“Belema” is an Ijaw phrase for “Love” and “Sweetness” and in this context, Mr. 2Kay delivers an ode to his love interest and garnishes it with a contemporary high-life beat

The south south artiste is set to drop his next album before the end of the year and “Belema” is the beginning of great things to come.
