Multiple award winning Nigerian actress Monalisa Chinda took fans by surprise with her presence and full support at the grand premiere of the newest movie in town, TOBI, which held at Ozone Cinema in Yaba on Friday, May 18, 2012.
Just returning from the Serra Leone premiere of Enemy of The Family, a movie she starred in, the actress cum producer was on ground to support and encourage Emmanuel Ijeh, the young US based Nigerian producer of the movie, TOBI.
Joining Emmanuel at the premiere of the New York and New Jersey shot movie, which seeks to promote moral values among young people while bridging the gap between Nollywood and Hollywood were Emem Isong, Yinka Davies and the likes who also took their pews through to the end of the viewing.
“The movie is a very nice one that should be well encouraged. Beyond the entertaining side of it, it teaches the importance of imbibing sound values which is what we need at such a time as this,” says Monalisa about the movie.
Expressing his gratitude at the crowd-packed premiere which came to an end at 10:15pm, Emmanuel Ijeh, the computer programmer turned movie producer said he was very grateful for the support showered on him by everyone in the industry.
