England may have emerged victors in the round of 16 tie versus Slovakia, but the Three Lions did not do it without having to fight for it; literally and tactically on field, however it was Declan Rice who surprised fans.

The Euro 2024 tie rather took a dramatic turn as Declan Rice clashed with Slovakia manager Francesco Calzona following England’s intense victory in Gelsenkirchen.

The altercation occurred moments after the final whistle, drawing significant attention and sparking heated reactions from both teams.

The incident unfolded as Rice approached the match officials, seemingly to express his frustrations. Calzona, the Italian manager of the Slovakia team, intervened and pushed the England midfielder. This provoked an angry response from Rice, who began hurling abuse at Calzona.
