Mohbad’s family carries out 2nd autopsy to re-confirm cause of death
Nigerians are sad that a second autopsy is being done on Mohbad’s body. A report by blogger Temilola Sobola says that Mogbad’s family has done a second autopsy to find out more about how Ileriaoluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, died.
TopNaija recalls that Mohbad was declared dead in Lagos on September 12, 2023 after what was thought to be an ear infection. Before he died, the musician was signed to Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music. He was buried in Ikorodu, his city, less than 24 hours after he died.

After the terrible event, everyone’s attempts to figure out what happened to him proved pointless. But about nine months later, testing showed that diphenhydramine and antihistamine were present.
Still, the singer’s family, especially his father, wasn’t happy with the outcome. Recent events include Mohbad’s father and two doctors chosen by his father and Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, being present at the new autopsy process on Friday, July 19, 2024.
