Mohbad’s childhood friend, Primeboy surrenders himself to the police after wanted poster (video)

Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, a friend of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad from their childhood days, has willingly turned himself in hours after he was declared wanted by the Police, in connection with the singer’s death.

TopNaija recalls that Primeboy caused quite a stir on social media on Wednesday after a poster was released of him being wanted by the authority, along with a bounty of N1 million on him if he is found.

Primeboy surrendered himself to the police after failing to respond to their invitation for assistance in their ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.

On Thursday morning, October 5, he was spotted entering the police headquarters in Lagos with his lawyer.

Confirming the news, Ben Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, stated that he has been taken into custody for questioning.

He wrote,

“Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.
The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation. The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice.”
