Mohbad: Zinoleesky yanks himself off Marlian Records on Instagram bio
Popular Nigerian singer, Zinoleesky has supposedly separated himself from Naira Marley’s record label, ‘Marlian Music’ via social media action.
Zinoleesky had, amidst several backlash, taken to his Instagram bio to remove any association with the record label, Marlian Music.
His action comes over the constant vexation of Nigerians over the sudden death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The ‘Personal’ crooner on his Instagram page, replaced the record label with a new name, ‘Zinonymous Sound.’
The significant change was noticed on Zinoleesky’s Instagram page on Tuesday evening, a few days after the death of former Marlian Records signee Mohbad.
Social media has ‘exploded’ as fans respond to Zinoleesky’s sudden transfer, with many anticipating a probable departure from the record company.
Remember that Mohbad died under questionable circumstances last Tuesday and was buried by his family the following Wednesday.
The singer’s death sparked outrage on and off social media, with the police, Lagos State administration, and the Department of State Services (DSS) all investigating what caused Mohbad’s death.
Naira Marley, who divorced MohBad in 2022, was indicted and suspected of having a role in the death of his former signee, which he denied.
