Mohbad: we’re waiting to hear from Bella Shmurda – Police awaits information on singer’s death

The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has disclosed that they are waiting for singer Bella Shmurda to provide them information to carryout more investigation.

Bleeding, who happens to be a close friend of late rapper Mohbad, seems to be at the centre of the investigation, as the authorities, on Thursday, began gathering information on the untimely death of Mohbad.

Aside Bella Shmurda,  the police had called for individuals with useful information, especially family members of the late rapper to come forward.

Speaking on this matter, controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, on Saturday gave Bella Shmurda 48 hours ultimatum to go to the police and speak up.

On her X handle, she wrote; “Bella Shmurda I’m giving you 48 hrs to go to @PoliceNG and speak to @Princemoye1 or force CID Ikoyi.”

Police spokesperson, Adejobi quoted her post with the caption; “I am waiting to hear from him.”

TopNaijaNG understands that during a past interview, Bella Shmurda had revealed that Mohbad once attempted to take his life after his fallout with Naira Marley-owned record label, Marlian Music. He also stated that the late rapper was receiving threats.
