Speed Darlington has slammed late Nigerian musician, Mohbad for not fighting back against his bullies prior to his death.
The pop star who died a few weeks back, shook the internet following the controversy that resulted from his death, with fingers pointing at numerous suspects including his former record label, Marlian music.
According to reports, Mohbad faced a lot of troubles with the record label prior to his death, with Nigerian musician, Speed Darlington hitting at the deceased artiste for allowing the harassment in the first place.
The Songwriter described the late singer as a ‘weakling’ for allowing the Marlian boys to go to the extent of bullying him while still living.
Following Mohbad’s death on September 12, video clips leaked online showing men allegedly linked to the record label assaulting him. The videos sparked off widespread condemnation for the Marlian group including its leader, Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
Speed Darlington who was fazed by the videos, criticized the deceased artiste for not taking his assailants on instead of running and complaining.
‘’Make sure you produce a beast.” Speed Darlington was quoted saying.
“Do not produce a weakling. I saw too many videos of a dead man. He goes like this ‘If anything happens to me to me like this, Na Marlian and his boys
’’ I dey look am I say Ah see this weakling. Bully nor dey attack person when go beat am. Bully will size you up, convince himself that I can finish that boy before they attack.
“Bully do not attack people that are stronger than them, If every time when they attacked this boy, whether they are two or three and one of them bleeds profusely, they would not continue to do it”’
