Mohamed Salah previews Liverpool vs. Manchester City

We have nothing to lose — Mohamed Salah insists as he previews the epic encounter that will be Liverpool versus Manchester City.

Liverpool versus Manchester City is for sure the game every fan of football and the premier league will want to watch now, as it promises a cracker for the nerves.

Ahead of the epic encounter, some words have been thrown between players, Trent Alexander Arnold drawing first blood when his remarks were taken out of context by Manchester City stars; Erling Haaland and Ruben Dias, with Kyle Walker even sharing some words about it.

The latest star to preview the dicey encounter is Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, who this time has urged his team to go all out for it this season.

In anticipation of the highly anticipated clash between Liverpool and Manchester City, Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s no. 11, engaged in an insightful interview with Premier League Productions, offering a glimpse into his mindset ahead of the crucial tie.

“I don’t want to take anything from the [previous] players. They help a lot in the team in the past. They were unbelievable here. All the players who left were unbelievable.

Reflecting on Liverpool’s current position compared to two years prior when the team was similarly contending across various fronts, Salah exhibited a respectful nod to past players while emphasizing the hunger within the current squad.

“This year I would say [it’s a] different squad, but the players are very hungry. We have a good chance to win everything. We just need to give it a proper try. We have nothing to lose, [so] just give it a try and see.”

He acknowledged the contributions of former teammates, highlighting their undeniable talent and the invaluable role they played. However, Salah underscored the unique character of the current squad, noting their collective hunger and determination to seize every opportunity for success.

Expressing optimism, Mohamed Salah emphasized the importance of leaving nothing on the table and pursuing victory across all competitions.

Transitioning to his role in nurturing Liverpool’s younger players, Salah emphasized the significance of building genuine connections before imparting advice.

“If you really show that you care a lot about them and you really talk to them and that they can achieve big things. They can be great and just need to do small things to change it. They’re human beings, they’re not going to change in one day everything.

Stressing the importance of demonstrating genuine care and belief in their potential, Salah emphasized the human aspect of player development. By fostering trust and establishing rapport, Salah believed that players would be more receptive to guidance and motivated to strive for greatness.

Salah on being a Big Brother at Liverpool

“The most important thing for me is to show the player that I really care about them – I do. Then after that it’s easy to communicate with them. It’s easy to get them under your arm and just keep talking and advise them.”

As discussions turned towards Jurgen Klopp’s impending departure from the club, Salah reminisced about their fruitful partnership spanning eight years.

“It’s tricky to choose one because we’ve been working together for eight years. I think he just lets his players have freedom in the game and just to express themselves. Everybody can feel free and do what he wants.”

Highlighting Klopp’s management style, Salah praised the manager for instilling a culture of freedom and self-expression among the players.
