Mo Salah wins PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year

Liverpool superstar, Mohamed Salah has been awarded the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year award.

 

Salah’s spectacular run in the 2021/22 campaign won him a third Premier League Golden Boot, along with Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son having both recorded.

 

The Egyptian also won the playmaker award with 13 assists ahead of teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold who recorded 12.

 

This is the third time the 29-year-old has won the prestigious fan-voted award.

 

He won this beating Alexander-Arnold, Kevin De Bruyne, Conor Gallagher, Phil Foden, and Declan Rice.

 

It was the fourth consecutive season of scoring above 20 goals in all competitions.

 

He had now moved into 12th-place in Liverpool’s all-time goalscorers list with 125.

 

Salah has also won the FWA footballer of the year award as well as the Premier League goal of the season award.
