Mmesoma: Father of Alleged UTME Result Forger Speaks Out

Mr. Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma, who has recently been embroiled in a controversy over allegations of forging her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result, has broken his silence and responded to the ongoing controversy.

This follows the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) accusing the Anambra schoolgirl of fabricating her impressive score of 362.

While Mmesoma vehemently denied the allegations in a viral video on Monday, JAMB, in a subsequent statement on Tuesday, took a firm stance by prohibiting her from taking the exam for the next three years, asserting that she had indeed falsified her UTME result.

Mr. Romanus Ejikeme, in an interview with Leadership, shared his perspective on the matter, vehemently denying the accusations leveled against his daughter.

He claimed that Mmesoma could not have inflated her UTME score, insinuating that the motive behind these allegations was to obstruct the N3 million scholarship she had been awarded by the Innoson company.

Disputing JAMB’s claims, Mr. Ejikeme stated,

“Mmesoma cannot manipulate her UTME score. I don’t believe what they are saying. They just want to transfer that scholarship to another person. That is why they are saying that Mmesoma did not make that score.”

Furthermore, he revealed that it was Mmesoma’s friends who initially discovered her outstanding UTME score online and promptly informed her before she proceeded to print out the result. Mr. Ejikeme emphasized that they possess the print-out as evidence to substantiate their claims.

The allegations surrounding Mmesoma’s purported forgery of her UTME result have sparked a significant debate.

The credibility of her academic achievement and the scholarship she was awarded hang in the balance, leaving her future prospects uncertain. JAMB’s decision to bar her from taking the exam for the next three years reinforces their position that she manipulated her score, a stance that contradicts Mmesoma’s adamant denial.

As the controversy continues to unfold, concerned stakeholders await further developments, hoping for a resolution that uncovers the truth behind these conflicting claims.

The ultimate outcome will determine the fate of Mmesoma’s academic aspirations and the validity of the scholarship bestowed upon her by the Innoson company.
