“People automatically think that once you have fibroids, you cannot have kids,” Dima-Okojie explained. “Only about two to three percent of fibroid cases lead to infertility. The severity depends on the number, size, and location of the fibroids.”

Despite the emotional and physical toll, the actress praised her husband, Abasi, for his unwavering support.

“My husband is the most supportive. When I found out the fibroids were back, I was really stressing out, but Abasi is the best guy. He comforts me and supports everything I do.”

Fibroids are non-cancerous growths that develop in or on the uterus, largely composed of muscle and fibrous tissue that can vary in size from tiny seedlings, undetectable by the human eye, to large masses that can distort and enlarge the uterus.
