Singer and actress, Miley Cyrus has confirmed her split up with her husband, Liam Hemsworth after less than a year of marriage. This is coming weeks after she revealed she was still attracted to women.
The estranged couple got married in a private ceremony back in December 23, 2018, at their home in Franklin, Tennessee.
A rep for Cyrus confirmed the split in a statement to PEOPLE below.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
