Mercy Aigbe’s estranged husband released from Kirikiri Prison

Lanre Gentry, the estranged husband of Mercy Aigbe, has been granted bail after being remanded in prison for seven days.

However, he is due back in court soon in continuation of his case with the government.

Lanre Gentry had been dragged to the police on a two-count charge of assault and battery by his wife.

According to Mercy, she had been suffering many years of domestic violence from her husband and wanted him to know the gravity of what he had done, by reporting him to the Ministry of Women Affairs.

An insider told the press that Gentry is shocked to see all the reports from his wife but is yet to make a statement.
