Mercy Aigbe’s estranged husband, Lanre Gentry locked in prison

Lanre Gentry, husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has been remanded in prison custody.

He appeared before an Ikeja Magistrate Court earlier today where the presiding magistrate, Y.O. Aje-Afunwa granted him a N500,000 with two sureties in like sum bail.

The sureties were required to submit their tax verification documents, with one of them having a house within the jurisdiction of the court.

Lanre Gentry couldn’t meet the bail requirement before proceedings were ended for the day which meant that he was immediately remanded in prison until the bail conditions are met.

Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Lanre, is facing trial for alleged wife battery.

The pair have a son together.
