Mel B will not be prosecuted for alleged witness intimidation

Apparently, Mel B will not be prosecuted for allegedly intimidating a witness in her domestic violence case against Stephen Belaftone.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office declined to move forward because the text messages Mel B sent to rapper Siya were ‘too vague’ and cannot clearly be interpreted as threats. Moreover, the text messages don’t show that Mel was aware that Siya was going to testify.

Siya had filed a police report, claiming Mel sent threatening texts, warning her not to take the stand in Mel B’s divorce and domestic violence case.

Siya was prepared to testify against the Spice Girls singer refuting claims that Belafonte abused her throughout their marriage and share information regarding the sexual relationship their former nanny, Lorraine Gilles said she had with Mel B and Belafonte.
