Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain is the most exciting footballer in the world, according to former Chelsea star Joe Cole.
Cole said this after Mbappe’s superb showing in PSG’s 2-1 victory over Juventus on Wednesday in the Champions League group stage.
Given his talent, he asserts that the 23-year-old France international is capable of ‘anything,’ adding that he is capable of feats that no other player is.
Keep in mind that Mbappe scored a goal as PSG defeated Juventus in Turin.
Speaking on BT Sport, Cole said: “[Mbappe] He’s so explosive, he’s the most exciting player in world football now without a doubt. He can do things that no other player can do – the pace and power, I absolutely love him.
“I think it’s a great analogy of R9 and Henry, because he is a cross between – that’s a massive compliment. If he stays fit, which is a big if and carries on the way he’s going he can do anything I mean, what a player.”
Mbappe has led PSG in goals scored so far this season with 18 across all competitions.
The Frenchman has seen himself become the subject of media narratives this season due to his performances on pitch and off pitch, with the PSG star few weeks back reported to be eyeing for a move out from the club in the January transfer window despite just renewing a contract with the Ligue 1 club.
Kylian Mbappe being considered explosive is in line with the narratives we have seen of the player so far.
