His remarks came during the company’s “Walk-For-Life” event on Thursday, marking its 80th anniversary.

Ajah pointed out that many common foods and drinks could contribute to heart disease.
He advised reducing carbohydrate and sugar intake, increasing vegetable consumption, and opting for water over fizzy drinks. Lifestyle changes, including a low-salt diet, regular exercise, and avoiding excessive alcohol and smoking, are crucial for preventing and managing hypertension.
Addressing the rising cost of healthcare, Ajah linked high drug prices to fluctuations in the exchange rate and the devaluation of the naira.
He urged the Federal Government to take action to stabilize these factors to keep medication and goods affordable.
Ajah also assured that May & Baker remains dedicated to advancing healthcare through research and technology while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape.
