Marc Cucurella bringing the looks to Old Trafford

Chelsea left-back, Marc Cucurella is set for another Premier League switch after his transfer from Brighton a year ago to Stamford Bridge.

In what can be described as a panic transfer, Old Trafford club, Manchester United has made moves to bring the Spaniard to Manchester after opening talks a few days ago with the player.

In a report released by Fabrizio Romano on his social media update on the move, Marc Cucurella has agreed personal terms with Manchester United that sees him trade Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford in a loan switch.

According to Romano, an initial £2m loan fee bid has been sent, with the Spaniard waiting on the decision by Chelsea in making the move come to fruition.

Following the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea boss, Marc Cucurella has seen his stocks decline at the Bridge as he now hangs on the fringe list without game time.

Should the move come to fruition, Cucurella joins former teammate, Mason Mount in Manchester as the second signing from the Blues down to North West of England.

With Manchester United facing their own crisis in terms of injury woes, the former Barcelona man sees light in the tunnel as a move to Old Trafford provides a needed opportunity to revitalize his career.

On the injury front, the Red Devils have suffered another injury crisis with defender, Raphael Varane set to be out for 6 weeks based on reports.
