Manchester United vs. Liverpool: Confirmed Lineup

The North West derby of England is here and stares us in the face as Manchester United welcomes Liverpool to Old Trafford for a renewal of an age long hostility.

Both sides enter a new terrain this season, with Manchester United looking to improve from last season’s woes of finishing 8th in the premier league table, whereas Liverpool will be looking to move on from the Jurgen Klopp era after the German departed Anfield last season.

With all to fight for; glory, bragging rights and possibly survival, the two Red halves of England and England’s most successful clubs march out at Old Trafford to once more battle for supremacy.

Though not spoken much of, Arne Slot will be looking to somewhat challenge for the premier league title this season, even if it is his first venture in English football. It is a lofty dream however, but dreams do become reality, and such dreams begin with a win at the Theatre of Dreams. The irony though, is that this theatre, belongs to their arch rivals, and if any dream would be had in it by Liverpool, Manchester United will want it to be a nightmare.

But that depends on whichever team both managers line up to take on each other.
