Manchester United Are Back -- Pep Guardiola

Looking to sign Manchester United’s new super star post the Cristiano Ronaldo controversy? Then Marcus Rashford will come in at a huge price tag following Man United’s latest move.

Manchester United has reportedly placed a huge price tag on their talisman Marcus Rashford after his outstanding form in recent matches. The forward has scored 24 goals in all competitions this season, with 16 goals in his last 17 games. Rashford’s incredible resurgence is a far cry from last season when he only managed to score five goals.

Rashford’s performances have caught the attention of Real Madrid, who are reportedly interested in securing the No.10 as a long-term replacement for captain Karim Benzema. While Los Blancos are looking for a star striker, they are not currently in the mix for Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.

The Englishman is under contract with Manchester United until 2024, after the club triggered a one-year extension option in his existing deal. However, United values the player at an impressive €130 million (£115 million).

United’s manager Erik ten Hag emphasized the importance of Rashford to the team, saying that securing a new and improved contract for him is a top priority. Ten Hag added that the team is in a good place and that Rashford is definitely in a good place. He further stated that Rashford’s good form can be maintained with the right energy and investment.

The forward has impressed in recent matches, scoring twice in United’s 3-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday. Rashford’s performances have been helped by the addition of striker coach Benni McCarthy.

Rashford’s recent form has been a remarkable resurgence for the player, who had previously been linked with a move away from his boyhood club. However, his importance to the team cannot be overstated, and the Red Devils are now desperate to keep him.

Rashford scored a crucial goal in United’s Europa League draw against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, and he will be hoping to replicate his heroics in the second leg of the Europa League play-off at Old Trafford.
