Manchester United set to destroy 114-year-old history
What is Manchester United without Old Trafford?
It appears the world sooner or later will get an answer to that question based on current reports emerging about the new ownership’s plans moving forward.
The iconic Old Trafford, a symbol of Manchester United’s rich history, may soon be consigned to the past as plans for a state-of-the-art, £2 billion mega stadium gather momentum. While initial proposals suggested scaling down Old Trafford to serve as a base for United’s women’s and academy teams, it now appears more likely that the legendary ground will be demolished due to logistical and financial challenges.
