Man United Legend has huge praises for Klopp’s achievements in England

This season for Liverpool fans have been an eventful one, both in the league and across Europe. But for United fans; a nightmare as arch rivals look set to go about it breaking every record available to them. that hasn’t stopped United captain and Legend, Roy Keane from showering praises on Liverpool’s German manager, Jurgen Klopp.

Jurgen Klopp last night, added another trophy to Liverpool’s cabinet, as the Reds overcame Chelsea to lift the FA Cup at Wembley, a repeat of the Carabao Cup that had taken place earlier this year. And according to Roy Keane, the German boss was ‘like a teenager’ after match, praising Klopp’s passion for the game.

In a similar fashion to how the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea went in February, the Reds were once again successful on penalties and lifted the FA Cup trophy for the first time since 2006, and the first under Klopp.

It also made the German manager, the first ever German to ever win the trophy in England.

The Irish man speaking on ITV Sport, said of the manager, “You look at Klopp’s reaction running on at the end there, the passion he has for the football club. He has some brilliant players.” Keane said,

“But it all starts with Klopp. What he has done to that football club. The feel-good factor they have got. The squad of players they have. And they are set up for a special season, no doubt about it. You could see him here. Not that I am a big fan of it.” the United further added, speaking on Klopp’s on pitch mannerisms and fist-pumping towards Liverpool fans.

“The winning goal, you see him sprinting on the pitch. He was like a teenager. And that rubs off on the players, of course.”

There were scenes at full time that captured what the whole group was about, and it’s one that has gone on to define their season as it captures the togetherness of the team and its connection with the fans.

With the work that the former Borussia Dortmund boss has done at Liverpool, there’s no doubt he’ll go down in Liverpool and England’s history, even more so as he has won every major trophy available since he has been in charge at the Anfield dug out.

The win for Liverpool at Wembley ensures the team’s dream of a quadruple remains even though it’s less likely with Manchester City winning their Premier League games.
