A Nigerian man was saved by passersby after he attempted suicide on Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge in Lagos state.

The yet to be identified man was seen as he tried jumping into the river beneath the bridge, thankfully, before he could complete the daring act, well-meaning Nigerians intervened.

In a video making the rounds online, a woman who seemed like an LCC (Lekki Concession Company) staff could be heard encouraging him by saying that his future is bright.

The woman then offered to get him a job connection if that will make him not to consider taking his life.

The young man burst into tears as they kept pacifying him and eventually he let go of the bride rails.

LCC which shared the video disclosed that he has been handed over to the police.
