A Chemical Engineering graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University has been arrested, a month after stealing a phone at a church he was attending for the first time.
The suspect, Seun Ajayi Hicks, had on Sunday 4th December, 2017, stolen a Samsung Grand Prime phone during praise and worship, at a church in Meiran, Lagos State.
Unknown to him, the owner of the phone is a tech guru. He was monitoring all Ajayi’s activities on the phone.
After removing the owner’s sim and inserting his, his phone number was immediately transmitted to the owner’s back up.
The number was then used to trace Ajayi to his Facebook page. The suspect was arrested this morning after weeks of manhunt.
