Man murdered in cold blood by son in Nasarawa

A household man has been allegedly killed by his first son over last in Nasarawa State.

The deceased, identified as Badejo Idowu was stabbed to death on Monday, July 26 by his first son, Tunde Badejo right after having an argument over land that belonged to the family.

According to Daily Trust, the incident occurred at Masaka, Karu LGA of Nasarawa State. 

TopNaija understands that before the murder, Tunde had been pestering his father for a portion of the land for over a year before his death.

The wife of the deceased, Madam Tolani Badejo, confirming the incident, told the aforementioned publication that her husband asked Tunde to give him time to apportion the land fairly among other family members.

She said;

He had been on my husband’s neck for the land since last year. So during their last argument on Monday, he pulled out a knife and stabbed his father several times on the head, neck, chest, hands and legs which killed him. I raised alarm and he fled.”

The second son of the deceased, identified as Ayomide Badejo, said the matter had been reported to the police while his father’s corpse had been deposited in a mortuary
