Man Dressed as Spider-Man Arrested in Kenya

A man dressed in a Spider-Man costume has been reportedly arrested in Kenya, although his identity remains unknown.

The photos of the superhero character went viral, leading to speculation about why he was taken into custody while seemingly going about his own business.

According to Citizen Digital, the Administration Police Service (APS) stated that the man was apprehended due to his mental instability. They explained that he was taken into custody for his own well-being.

While there were reports of his arrest, Citizen Digital mentioned that Nanyuki APS denied having arrested him, but acknowledged that they were conducting a wellness check.

An anonymous source at APS revealed that the man has a mental health condition, and his family had reported him missing.

Upon being spotted in Nanyuki town, the police swiftly intervened and detained the ‘Spider-Man’ before his whereabouts could become unknown again.

The officers then contacted the man’s family, who arrived with hospital documents proving his mental illness. Subsequently, they took him home from Nanyuki prison.
