Man attempts to take his own life as lady rejects his proposal
A Nigerian man based in Kano state, Tijjani Abubakar, attempted to take his own life on Tuesday, February 15 after the lady he proposed to rejected him.
According to reports, Abubakar who hails from Nasarawa local government area in the state and a mobile phones seller at Farm Centre made an attempt on his life by trying to drink a poisonous substance.
It was reported that Abubakar had been grooming the young girl for himself before she decided to call off their relationship.
This decision tore Abubakar apart leaving him very sad to the point of harming himself. He was rescued by friends and neighbours from committing the act.
