Made Kuti to perform with The Cavemen

The Afrobeat singer Made Kuti and his band will perform on Friday, October 29, 2021, at The Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

Days after the conclusion of the 2021 edition of Felabration, Made Kuti is returning on stage.

Made Kuti made his debut solo act this year and he his now returning on stage with the Nigerian highlife band, The Cavemen.

In a brief chat with the brain behind the show, Funke Kuti Management, Made’s return will further cement his brilliance and mastery at giving a full concert experience.

“It is going to be a night of pure vibes as Made performs back-to-back hits from his debut album For(e)ward and new songs not released yet. Made has proven to be good at what he does and this is another avenue for fans and new converts to come and experience Made in concert,” a representative for Funke Kuti Management said.

Speaking on the reason for featuring sensational highlife duo The Cavemen, the rep said, “There are so many individuals doing great songs and the duo of Cavemen have carved a niche for themselves. Hence, the reason they will be performing all their popular hits at the concert.”

The Nation also reliably gathered that popular comedian, Omo Baba will be the concert’s host and master compere.

Made Kuti started out his musical career in childhood as he played the bass and saxophone with his fathers band, Positive Force. He started touring with the band at the age of 8. He released his debut single titled “Free Your Mind” in October 2020.
