Lizzy Anjorin slams Mercy Aigbe over alleged hypocrisy

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Lizzy Anjorin has fired shots at fellow actress Mercy Aigbe Adeoti, accusing her of hypocrisy and using personal conflicts to promote her latest film.

In a fiery social media post, Lizzy Anjorin expressed her displeasure with Mercy’s public support for Fola Tinubu, the ex-wife of Mr. Lawal.

Anjorin accused Tinubu of crossing boundaries by allegedly shaming, attacking, and blackmailing her husband after their marriage, actions she claimed Mercy seemed to condone.

“She [Fola Tinubu] cursed my husband and children—something Mercy’s rival has never done,” Anjorin stated, referring to Funsho Adeoti, Mercy’s husband’s first wife, who she says has handled her situation with more restraint.

In the video, Lizzy Anjorin called out Mercy for what she sees as unnecessary meddling and attention-seeking.

“Unlike you, I don’t air my husband’s private matters or use them to extort or shame anyone,” she declared, emphasizing her refusal to play dirty.

Lizzy Anjorin didn’t hold back, accusing Mercy of using the controversy as a strategy to drum up publicity for her newly released film ThinLine.

The post has sparked mixed reactions among fans, with some siding with Lizzy for defending her family while others question the escalating drama between Nollywood’s leading ladies.

Is this another Nollywood feud, or is Lizzy simply standing her ground?
