Liverpool vs. Fulham: Confirmed XI

Another dicey premier league clash faces Merseyside club Liverpool as they set to once more challenge for the league title once more, and this time they face West London side, Fulham as opponents.

Trailing league leaders, Arsenal currently by 5 points after the Gunners had established a further 3 point lead in addition to the 2 points that separated both sides last weekend, the Reds have a mountain of pressure to get a positive results against their London visitors at Anfield.

Fulham however have their own problems and aspirations this season as they currently sit in 14th place. A win over Liverpool today catapults them into 11th place assuming West-London rivals, Chelsea do not get a positive result versus Brighton.

As dicey as the fixture may feel for a pressured Reds side, the Cottagers have their own pressure to deal with as they set foot at Anfield to battle a Jurgen Klopp side that have so far this season built the arena as a fortress.

Marco Silva however will want to fancy his chances, as in recent times, with the return of Fulham in the premier league, Liverpool haven’t had quite an easy game home or away without the West London side at least putting up a fight.
