Following the 2-2 mishap against Manchester United, Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back against new opponents, Atalanta in the Europa League.

With a place in Europe’s second tier club competitions’ semi-final at stake, the Reds will be looking to revenge lost points at Old Trafford against their Serie A visitors tonight.

For Atalanta however, Liverpool seem the prime opponent to prove their strengths against as they match out at the Anfield turf, themselves eager to make a statement in the Europa League. Though Liverpool stand as clear favorites in this fixture, Atalanta possess a very formidable attacking play that is sure to threaten a leaky Liverpool defence.

The Reds in as much as they hold themselves as one of the sides with the most goals in Europe this season, have a tendency to concede just as much goals this season against their opponents, which gives the Serie A side something to look forward to at Anfield.
