Liverpool to extend Mane’s contract
Liverpool have started plans to extend to offer Sadio Mane a new contract considering he has just over 12 months left on his current deal.
Although talks have not progressed yet, the Merseyside team “will not break the bank to keep him”.
According to a recruitment source, the Senegal international wishes to continue his spell at Anfield as much as Liverpool is ready to keep him.
Mane scored a brace in the FA Cup semi-final against Man City on Saturday to qualify Liverpool for a long awaited final.
He now has 18 goals and two assist in 41 appearances for the Reds in the ongoing campaign.
