Liverpool insists Mohamed Salah is not for Sale

Premier League club, Liverpool have come to the open to clear out any doubt that their star player, Mohamed Salah will depart the Reds this summer.

The Merseyside club can be argued as having recorded the worst summer transfer business this summer window, losing a lot of key players while bringing in few ahead of a challenging 2023/24 campaign.

The Egyptian forward has for a while now been rumored for a move to the Saudi Pro League, with the former AS Roma attracting a host of interests from the league.

In a recent report, a source very close to Saudi Pro League club, Al-Ittihad made claims of a deal already agreed with Mohamed Salah to facilitate an exit from Liverpool this summer.

Added to the claims, came speculations that the former Premier League Player of the Year winner has been given a mouth-watering offer to move to Al-Ittihad, the same club that houses former teammate, Fabinho.

However, according to a source close to Liverpool, Neil Jones, the Merseyside club have insisted that Mohamed Salah remains untouchable going into the new season.

Neil Jones, who was once a reporter for Goal.com, reports that the club are aware of the links between the Saudi Pro League club and Mohamed Salah but no official bids have been received, which goes contrary to established reports.

The Liverpool correspondent also went to confirm that should a bid arrive for the Egyptian, the Reds plan to resist any such move.

Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas has consistent debunked any plans by Mohamed Salah to ditch his Liverpool contract, with the agent coming out on social media more often than not to reinstate Salah’s commitment to the Reds.

The former Chelsea player’s contract with the club runs till the 2024-25 season after which the Egyptian becomes a free agent unless he renews a new contract before then.
