Liverpool eye move for Wilfred Ndidi
The panic mode begins for premier league clubs as the transfer deadline nears, with Merseyside club, Liverpool the latest to be linked in one of the surprising reports as being interested in a move for Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City.
The Super Eagles star is well reported to have agreed personal terms with Nottingham Forest for a summer move but all that seems to enter the realm of complication as Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move to nab the Nigerian from the Tricky Trees.
Nottingham Forest are believed tobe in discussion with Leicester City to finalise the move, and now The Independent reports that the Reds are looking at the option to include Wilfred Ndidi into its new midfield look of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboslai and Wataru Endo.
The Nigerian international currently has less than 12 months on his contract with Leicester City, and the Foxes are reportedly open to allowing him leave for the right price this summer window than risk losing the player on a free.
Wilfred Ndidi prior to injury misfortunes recently, has held a spot in Leicester City’s midfield during his stay at the Kings Power Stadium. The Nigerian most times has even doubled as a centre back option during former Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers’ reign as Leicester City boss.
It remains to be seen if the move materializes ahead of deadline day.
