Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp gives Newcastle the shush treatment

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp may not be known for on-pitch antics, but against Newcastle assistant coach, Jason Tindall, the Reds boss went full savage on him after Liverpool completed their 2-1 comeback.

Liverpool had endured a much difficult spell against the Magpies throughout the game after going down to 10 men following Virgil van Dijk’s red card in the 33rd minute.

With a goal down thanks to former Everton star, Anthony Gordon’s goal, Jurgen Klopp was faced with dealing with Jason Tindall’s troll antics after the German had lodged complaints against Trent Alexander-Arnold getting sent off in the first half.

However, a red card incident couldn’t be avoided in the game as Virgil van Dijk was subsequently sent off after his challenge on Alexander Isak.

The Liverpool captain had kicked through the Swede to get to the ball and was deemed to have denied a goalscoring opportunity, leading to the Dutchman’s dismissal.

Liverpool however were able to complete a comeback after Darwin Nunez’s introduction into the game to net a brace against the Magpies.

It was then left to Jurgen Klopp to give back Tindall the troll antic he had been given as the German was picturd shushing the assistant coach on the touchline, mimicking the same action Jason Tindall had trolled him with.

Prior to the game, Newcastle manager, Eddie Howe had set it on record that he and the Liverpool manager can not be friends even though he has a lot of respect for the German.

“I don’t really have a relationship with any manager, I’m competing against them,” he said in a press conference.

“I find it very difficult to have personal relationships with competitors. I’ve been the same as a player.

“I was not one to talk to players before a game. I draw a line, and so that is just how I have always been. I respect Jurgen a lot. I think he’s done an incredible job. He’s an unbelievable football manager but I draw the line at friendships because they don’t exist for me.”

Speaking after the game, Jurgen Klopp promised in his post match press conference that Liverpool hero on the day, Darwin Nunez will see more game time moving forward.

“He will play, there’s no doubt about that. We need everyone. We need to find a way of playing. This is a new team with new key players. It needs time.

“He scores two goals and can’t get the smile off his face. For the team, it was super important. You need these things together. You cannot force it,” Klopp said.
