Liverpool agree personal terms with Darwin Nunez
Liverpool has reportedly agreed personal terms with Benfica and Uruguay striker Darwin Nunez.
According to The Athletic, the Premier League side held successful talks with Nunez’s representatives on Wednesday, June 8.
Following an agreement over the proposed contract which is yet to be signed, Benfica may be demanding a fee around €100 million (£85.5 million).
Discussions over the structure of the ongoing deal suggest that the Portuguese club wants at least €80 million upfront.
This would include an additional €20 million in performance-related add-ons.
The deal is expected to cater for Sadio Mane’s impending exit to Bayern Munich against the next League season.
