Lenovo unveils ThinkBook Auto twist & Aura edition laptops

Lenovo is once again pushing the boundaries of laptop design with the introduction of the ThinkBook Auto Twist AI PC, as demonstrated in a recently released video.

This latest concept laptop revisits the 360-degree hinge, but with a twist—literally.

The ThinkBook Auto Twist features a motorized hinge that not only rotates the screen completely around for a flat tablet mode but also responds to voice commands.

The video highlights how this innovative hinge can automatically adjust its position to follow the user, all thanks to basic AI capabilities powered by a Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

In addition to the ThinkBook Auto Twist, Lenovo has launched its new Aura Edition laptops, beginning with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 and Yoga Slim 7i.

These models stand out with their “Smart” software, which is prominently featured in the video.

The software includes advanced features like “Attention,” which allows users to set attention timers and silence notifications—similar to Windows’ Focus mode—and “Collaboration,” which enables Windows Studio Effects. Another feature, “Smart Share,” allows users to share content by simply tapping their phone against the screen edge, as seen in the video demonstration.

Co-engineered with Intel, these laptops are powered by the new Core Ultra 200V series processors.

The ThinkPad Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition is expected to ship in November with a starting price of $1,999, while the 15-inch Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition will be available this month starting at $1,299.
