Legendary Pele Leaves Assets For Secret Lovechild

The  identity of the secret lovechild of the late football legend Pele has been revealed.

Maria do Socorro Azevedo was born in the 1980s after Pele had a fling with her mother.

Pele’s will states that if a DNA test proves that Maria is his daughter, she will be entitled to a share of his fortune, which is estimated to be as high as £75 million.

Pele was married three times and officially had seven children. Last year, Ms Azevedo initiated a paternity recognition process before the Sao Paulo State Public Defender.

Pele was notified, but his health prevented him from taking the DNA test before his death in December 2022. Lawyer Augusto Miglioli, who represents three of Pele’s children, stated that if Maria is proven to be Pele’s daughter, a portion of his assets will be reserved for her.
