Lawan reveals to members of APC that he can run the best democracy

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, trying to buy the votes of the members of the All Progressives Congress at the convention of the party on Tuesday said parliamentarians run the best democracies.

He said, “Having spent 23 years in the National Assembly, I am eminently qualified to be President. Worldwide, developed democracies are run by parliamentarians.

“Look very closely to ensure that we elect someone that will ensure the APC achievements so far are consolidated.”

Lawan was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1999 to represent the Bade/Jakusko Constituency as a member of the All Nigeria Peoples Party.
