The GMA Dove Award held its 50th-anniversary edition at Allen Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on 16th October 2019. The event saw Lauren Daigle and Kirk Franklin winning big.

GMA Dove Award is an event that honors outstanding achievements and excellence in Christian and Gospel songs

Platinum-selling pop crossover Lauren Daigle earned Artist of the Year at the ceremony, held at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. She also brought home Song of the Year for “You Say” and Pop Album of the Year for 2018’s “Look Up Child,” both honors shared with songwriter-producer team Jason Ingram and Paul Mabury.

A 10-time Dove honoree, Daigle previously won Artist of the Year in 2016 and New Artist of the Year in 2015.

“It’s the people in this room that have held me up through this journey, It’s been profound, it’s been vast and it’s been wild. I’m so incredibly grateful to share this honor with all of you guys.” Daigle said.
