Landlord impregnates Tenant’s daughter in Ogun State

According to the Ogun State Police Command, a septuagenarian landlord named Adesina was taken into custody for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old daughter (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area, in the state.

When the 70-year-old suspect was discovered having sex with the 14-year-old girl in the home’s bathroom on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at approximately 10:15 p.m., the tenants and other residents are said to have been left in a state of shock.

The youngster reportedly made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower, according to a police source who was on the team that apprehended the 71-year-old suspect but was not authorized to comment on behalf of the command.

According to a PUNCH correspondent, it was discovered that shortly after, the landlord allegedly gained access to the same restroom and was allegedly having sex with the teenager before being discovered.

Following this startling finding, a few neighbors and community members who were present at the scene raised the alarm, which resulted in the landlord being taken into custody by the personnel of the Ajuwon Police Division in Ogun State.

The 14-year-old girl was reportedly taken to the hospital by her father for a medical evaluation after receiving advise from the police and other authorities regarding the need for the child to receive treatment in order to prevent infection.

Omolola Odutola, a spokesman for the state Police Command, confirmed the incident on Wednesday and said that the State Criminal Investigation Department had taken up the case, promising to question all involved.
