The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman, Otunba Segun Adewale has congratulated the senator elect for Osun west senatorial district, Dr Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke for his victory at the Poll yesterday, stressing it is victory over deceptive government.
The chairman also saluted Osun West Senatorial district people for standing against the All Progressive Congress (APC) grand plan to rig the election as usual.
He said “the victory of Dr Ademola Adeleke confirms again our that people in the South West of Nigeria are tired of the ruling party’s deception. It shows that no amount of intimidation will work in the coming elections across the states in this region”.
Adewale continued ” contrary to the wide insinuations that Senator Ali Modu Sherrif is a mole within the PDP,  his presence during the campaign in Osun State showed this is a true leader while those accusing him were nowhere to be found including the self acclaimed Chairman of the PDP Governors forum, Ayodele Fayose who said clearly the national leader of the APC,  Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is his leader, not Sherrif. Is not funny that a serving governor on our party will not hid his anti party activities?
He acknowledged the fact that PDP is currently bugged with some internal crisis, but said the party is coming back stronger. “As you can see, our party’s victory in Osun West Senatorial district yesterday is very clear. This party is for the grassroot, it would be returned to the grassroot. Our party is coming out stronger. We remain the only hope of Nigerians. People are obviously tired of the APC lies and cluelessness in governance”.
The chairman, who also praised the National Chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sherrif for standing by the senator elect promised that PDP will not only do well in the forthcoming Lagos local government election which takes place July 22 but ensures its catchment areas are harnessed and won with a landslide.
