39-year-old Loice Mahlamvana, has been arrested for reportedly paying hit men; 37-year-old Chenjerai Zhou, who is her ex-boyfriend and 29-year-old Tavonga Shoko $50 each to kill her 42-year-old boyfriend.

The late Zambian man was blind folded by Shoko while Zhou continuously hit him with a log until he became unconscious, burnt and then thrown into Mpandashango Dam by the two hit men hired by his girlfriend who accused him of abusing her.

It was gathered that Mahlamvana had been dating the deceased till sometime last November when their relationship turned sour, however she said late Chinyoka who accused her of having many boyfriends and allegedly started assaulting her, refused to accept this. The three suspects were arrested over the weekend, three months after the murder.

The Chronicle reported that only the deceased clothes and cellphone were burnt, before Zhou and Shoko allegedly tied a big stone to Chinyoka’s body before throwing it into the dam. On December 5, Chinyoka’s body was seen floating in the dam and was retrieved before being taken to Mpilo Central Hospital for post-mortem. Police investigations led to the arrest of the trio last Saturday.

Recall that in December, there was a viral report of a North Texas woman who allegedly killed her boyfriend’s seven-year-old son.

The Associated Press reports 26-year-old Brooke Craig is being held on a capital murder charge in connection to the death of Kaden Green. Greenville police have accused the woman of shooting into a moving vehicle—driven by her boyfriend, Cameron Castillo—with three children inside. Kaden suffered a gun wound to the chest during the incident and died shortly after at Hunt Regional Medical Center.

According to the AP, authorities responded to a disturbance call at Craig’s Greenville residence Thursday afternoon; however, once they arrived, Craig and Castillo were nowhere to be found. Police were then informed that a child had been shot and taken to the emergency room by witness.
