Lady Gaga suspends European Tour as a result of health complications
Lady Gaga has rescheduled the European leg of her world tour due to ongoing health complications which have impacted her ability to perform.
Earlier on, the Grammy winner revealed that she is suffering from fibromyalgia. She posted a picture on Instagram after the European tour postponement was announced, where she wrote that she has “always been honest about my physical and mental health struggles” and has been “searching for years to get to the bottom of them.”
A statement from her label published earlier on reads that Lady Gaga is suffering from severe physical pain that has impacted her ability to perform,”
“She remains under the care of expert medical professionals who recommended the postponement earlier today.”
The singer also shared a message with fans on Instagram, saying she has been “searching for years to get to the bottom of” her condition.
“It is complicated and difficult to explain, and we are trying to figure it out,” she said.
She also confirmed she will be spending the next seven weeks proactively working with her doctors to heal from this and past traumas that still affect her daily life, and result in severe physical pain in her body.
However, she sends her love to all her fans across Europe and thanked them for their support and understanding and promised to give her fans the best version of the show on resumption of the tour.
