Kylian Mbappe close to making a decision, Real Madrid picks Salah as alternative

As the summer transfer window gets ready to reopen, transfer rumors roam about, with this coming summer window no way different.

After the Erling Haaland rumors were squashed with his Manchester City move, PSG star man, Kylian Mbappe looks to be next on the media wave as to his future.

The French forward is due to be a free agent in the summer with his contract at Paris Saint-Germain set to expire in June, with the star having declined a contract extension with the club even after various proposals from PSG.

Real Madrid looking to capitalize on the situation tried to sign Mbappe last summer but met huge resistance from PSG. But as the summer transfer window reopens, the club isn’t looking to back down on their interest. Or will they?

It’s widely reported that Real Madrid will be Mbappe’s next destination, however, reports now suggests the player could very much stay on at the Parc des Princes with even French president Emmanuel Macron among the many trying to persuade him to stay.

The 23-year-old has now made it known that sooner rather than later, things will become clear where his future lies, revealing he has ‘almost’ made a decision on his future.

“I can’t say about my future but you’ll know very soon… it’s almost decided,” Mbappe said as quoted by sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano. “This isn’t the right moment but yes, yes… my decision is almost done.”

The deal would be a massive coup by Real Madrid except there is nothing to suggest he is heading to the Bernabeu.

As the saga goes down, talkSPORT’s transfer expert Alex Crook wonders if the scene could be headed for one big twist.
