"Why I fought Arsenal coach" -- Kyle Walker

Manchester City‘s Kyle Walker opens up on the reasons behind the heated confrontation that unfolded in the tunnel following their 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League.

The closely contested match was ultimately settled by a late strike from Gabriel Martinelli at the Emirates Stadium.

Tensions ran high after the final whistle, with players such as Walker and Erling Haaland visibly displaying their frustration as they left the field in North London.

When questioned about the incident during his time with the England national team this week, Walker provided insight into the situation.

“I don’t like losing,” Walker stated.

He went on to reference a previous encounter where Nico, an individual associated with Manchester City, had refused to shake hands after a victory over their opponents.

However, in the wake of their loss to Arsenal, Nico extended his hand, which Walker did not take kindly to. Walker’s explanation is as straightforward as that.

The England international also expressed his intention to address the situation, stating,

“I have been concentrating on England, but I will probably reach out to him, definitely. I will say, it was probably a bit too much.”
